Meraki - Essence of Yourself -To leave a piece of your soul in the work you create, where there is no division between you and the art you make. The Ki at the end of word translates from Sanskrit as a form of Vital Energy.

Space - A safe environment where you can expose your true self. As raw as possible, free from structures and stereotypes. A place where you can tune in with your senses and soul.

Meraki Space is Multisensory and Holistic Art Project for families and children. An active learning journey where children can explore handmade artistic techniques paired with a holistic practice that supports relaxation and focus.

Meraki Spirit is a child who looks at life with curiosity, imagination and opness. Full of silly questions and unique answers. A pure soul with no boundaries. A wild spirit - who stays wild.

Founders

Meraki Space is a self initiated project founded by Anna and Suria. We came across each other at our children's school, we were just waiting for each other and this project was written in the stars.

Anna mother of two boys and Suria mother of four are working hard to keep their childhood a magical time. 

Anna's background in design and handcraft just got wider and wilder once the little boys arrived so she redirect her creativity towards children's art based projects. In 2024 she embarked on a new project, a series of creative workshops for kids at ReMida Center in Naples, ending into a fundraise event to raise money for children in need.

Recently graduated with an Ayurvedic Certificate Suria's background in holistic practices in particular Ayurvedic Massage, Aromatherapy and Mineralogy are applied on everyday life and passed on to her children. Her family leaves up in the mountain in a small village in Switzerland leading a slow paced lifestyle and mindful living.
